In Hanover Project we are very lucky to be able to have a resource for Fine Art students that engages in real terms with the contemporary art world. As well as allowing students to organise, curate and stage exhibitions and events alongside those by established international artists, each year we invite an arts professional to curate/select an exhibition of student work, including both undergraduate and post graduate. This year we are very happy that Clarissa Corfe, the curator of the Harris Art Gallery, has agreed to select a show. Clarissa has been at the Harris for two years and before that was curator at the Castlefield Gallery in Manchester. She recently curated ‘The Varieties’ Exhibition in the Harris, which included the work of current staff and alumni from the Fine Art course.
