In a time when we are saturated with images its hard to represent our physical space as a true representation, our maps are digital often leading us to repurposed buildings and we become more reliant on the representation of the physical then the actual.

My practice is based around looking at that relationship between the representation and the represented, how the intangible three-dimensional space is conceived in to two dimensions and what do we lose by do this, another faucet of my practice is using industrial and mass producible materials that also came with the saturation of images that we receive, the idea of function is important to me the function of objects, the function of photograph and how the space functions its self.

This exhibition is the reconstruction of the Hanover by investigating these ideas about function and representation.
