Staff and students at the University of Central Lancashire Fine Art courses would like to invite you to the latest exhibition within the Hanover Project: Mobius. The exhibition consists of the work of nine second year Fine Art students each exploring themes of everyday occurrences.
Claire Molyneux, Collette Simcock, Elizabeth Challinor, Georgina Butterill, Hollie Burge, Iona McKinnell, Lisa Ng, Andy Poole, Daniel Williams.
Mobius explores the repetition of the everyday. It is a notion we all experience; whether it is within time, our actions, our phrases or the objects we see. The everyday is an inescapable cycle of what becomes ordinary to us all and the parts of our day that we have accepted to be normal, good or bad. It can be personal, political, or just routine.
We have explored the everyday from our own personal perspectives and the perspectives of the world around us. The exhibition highlights and brings to attention these everyday occurrences.
The exhibition opening is on 21st February from 5-7pm in the Hanover building with refreshments provided. The artists will also be on hand to talk about their work. We look forward to seeing you at the Hanover Project.
